(i always used to vote for the dope growers in the uk...just to piss the system off) sadly in the uk if you write ANYTHING on the voting slip aprt from a cross against your choice then the voting slip is marked down as "spoilt"

grahamkeithtodd, you are right about the bin Ladens. I didn't say I trust McCain... I don't. My vote definitely won't go to Obama because he is the worst of all the possible choices; and a vote for anyone but McCain is a vote for Obama, so that's the dilemma... for myself and millions of other Americans.

well cynnichol mate..it is well known that old George Bush Sr was well in bed with the bin laden's for ages... his rotton son was bankrolled by the bin laden clan and the son of the bin laden clan was once a very good friend to the bush lot..witness the way that after 9/11 the bin laden family members that where in the us where flown out of the country..the G-8 countrys love the bin ladens.. how can you trust the likes of McCain who kiss up to the likes of the bin laden clan?

grahamkeithtodd, ok, follow your own thread, and see where it goes... my orig sources about Obama were 2006-prior intl news articles... Obama (not even a Senator then) was working with opposition leaders with direct ties to al Qaeda. O was either maneuvering on hs own, or as a rep of the US govt (or your G-8.) Either way, it stinks. Either O had his own agenda, or the G-8s were/are working with bin Laden (again). The American people have to take this country back, and cannot trust Obama.

oh no? i remember Bush tring to tell blair to be "on message" when he was in the uk a few years ago....(london bombing's and the meeting in Scotland ring any bells?) Bush wanted Blair to stay in Scotland but Blair went to london and oversaw COBRA(cabinet office)reaction getting up and running!unlike Bush(at 9/11) Blair did his duty that day! right now the G-8 countrys are telling Zimbabwe what to do...

grahamkeithtodd, one last? comment on what upset Kenya about Obama, since you have discounted it. Obama went to K representing himself as a member of the US govt, turned on our ally, lectured them about corruption, while the K govt knew all along they were being set up, and knew what was going on with Obama campaigning for Odinga, and what Odinga/Obama and their opposition pals were up to in K... and Zimbabwe. Politicians don't tell allies to be 'more democratic'... Obama told K to f*** off.

My understanding of the makeup of the Colombian struggle is that the FARC is a leftist guerilla group who earn money by kidnapping and selling drugs. They are strongly opposed to the established government. How could McCain have anything to do with the hostages I have no idea. Granted my understanding is extensive, but I'm pretty sure it's not very complicated that's easy to complicate
