My whole point is, I just didn't think Chinese people would even LIKE KFC. I look at their food, so varied and tasty that KFC seems so blah. But, now that you mentioned an alternate menu, it makes more sense to me. Spam is sold at McDonald's in Hawaii. I'm sure, when sushi became popular here, people were shocked. Americans eating raw fish? Who would've thought? That's how I mean it, not how everyone is thinking, like I'm so close-minded that I can't see Asians eating fried chicken. I'm not.

Pretty arrogant there heh? The very fact that u generalize chinese based on those tiny portion around you is stereotype. Anyway, if you can't picture a certain kind of people doing something else, then you're pretty ignorant. Besides, KFC menu VARY from country to country. Some might have more fried/crispy meals and some other will have more cooked meal. It's called marketing strategies....

You're too sensitive. How is that a stereotype? I've traveled the WORLD and have lived in other countries. Believe me, I'm not someone who can't see past my nose. I've never been to China, though, and here, Asians tend to keep to themselves, so you don't get to know them. I had a Chinese friend in HS who admitted why she wouldn't let me in her house. So, I can only go by what I see with my own eyes. I'm just a little surprised about KFC's giant presence in China, that's all. And, so, we're done.

well, maybe you should reassess your stereotypes. the 'chinese diet' is not a concrete wall - people are free to eat what they want, when they want. they probably don't eat kfc every day a la american-style, but that doesn't mean they don't eat it at all? but why do i bother? i lived in america long enough to know that many people can't see past their own nose - how much more imagine another country. lets just end it here

That's just it. I just don't see Chinese people eating FRIED chicken and definitely not biscuits. The Chinese diet seems so far off. They sell it in the take-outs here in NY, but, frankly, I don't believe they'll consume half of the stuff on the menu, including the fried chicken. When I see them eating on their breaks, they're eating a TINY portion of white rice from a bowl and some slimy shit; seaweed in lobster sauce or something. They're not eating fried rice or general tso's chicken.
