I had the honor of meeting this band in 2003. I had a chance to talk to the band and I asked them if they were christians and if there band was a christian band. I am a christian and I am proud to say that they are a christian band. These guys a good example down to the very core. These guys are not afraid to admit that they are followers of christ. This song is telling of a place that you can go to, ot have peace. That peace is God....

switchfoot is a christian band and im not christian, but i bleive they rock why? because the lyrics and the music moves me and thats all that matters not the band name not the singer nothing. and that my friends is passion when you can love all dispite their apperance wether its "emo" "goth" "gay" its just expression if you dont feel them its ok to each their own, there are other options like Souljaboy lolz

yes i believe it is a christian song... have you heard the singer, jon foreman's single stuff? he sings alot about God and psalms from the bible. the stuff is really folky and different from switchfoot, but it rules!! you should check out his other band too, called fiction family!
