HHO install Ram 1500 # 9, O2 sensor extenders

Ninth video in the series. In this video I deal with installing O2 sensor extenders. When I first installed the extenders I knew that I was probably going to need a second set. As they were with one extension, the sensor still made direct contact with the exhaust stream. When I noticed my mileage was dropping I decided to go ahead and install a second set. These extenders are actually 18mm sparkplug anti-foulers. That you can buy at any auto parts store for around $3 a pair, you'll need a total of 4.

To all my viewers, I am closing the comments section for my older videos. I do not have the time necessary to keep revisiting work from weeks ago. If you read through the posts and notes on the videos your questions should be covered. I will be responding to questions in reference to my current work. Sorry if this poses and inconvenience. RadGenH20 Peace Out

thanks, I try not to overdrive my cell, thats why I always talk about keeping the temp down and running 5 neutrals. My cell runs under 110f and over 5MMW. Too many people run their cells in the 150-160 range and are waisting amps heating water. If you keep the cell gap voltage between 2.2 and 2.4volts you are in the sweet spot and the cell will find a constant temp and stay there. Sure I could drop to 4 neutrals and get and extra .1 or so MMW but who wants all that heat and what comes with it.

Concerning flyoil 1 comment. Be carreful on introducing steam into the engine.Overdriving is one cause. It will skyrocket the EGTs and will melt the plugs and the pistons.

Concerning flyoil 1 comment. Be careful in overdriving the cell. It will cause boiling of the water which will generate steam into the engine. A little is O K, but a lot will cause the EGTs to skyrocket and will melt the plugs and the pistons.

I need to research that more. frankly i am surprised chrysler went wide band. You are prob right and its an afr sensor that uses reference voltage but is indeed narrow band. watch my latest 3 vids(1 of 3 is not cooperating right now) but 2 and 3 should shed a little light on your situation. pay special attention to comments near end of last video on combustion characteristics. I have more specialized equipt to test much deeper. watch vids and see if it helps you. way to much for comment sect.

From what I've read, they use a 5 volt system, but are still narrowband sensors. I could be wrong, but that's what I've been told. Either way, an EFIE is out of the question on our trucks right now...

yeah, I hope nothing went wrong with your set up as it looks awesome and I really want it to work.:) Cantburn used a efie or map/maf box. let us know!

Much more testing is underway on my part. I have a wideband I use for tuning drag cars that i Will install in nissan to see if they are more sensitve than old style. great work. BTW have you got an egt on your rig?
higherpoweredh2o (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
do you have a late 2006. mitchell shows 06 as old style. best thing to to is meter out your wires coming from truck. I screwd up with test procedure. Am posting a vis now on a test I just finised doing. your volts do indicate wideband. Please rethink adding spacers. wideband o2 systems rely very heavily on o2 feedback. I would hate to see you damage engine.
