well i said "slash's style AND shred style" as in slash's style and how it relates to shred style, as in those being the two sides being compared. besides, if i liked slash enough to defend his skills and worth as a player i think i should know a bit about him. anyway, sorry for calling u a dumass

mikese93 has obviously never heard the 3 UYI ballads, Don't Cry, Estranged, and November Rain. solos seriously contradict what you just said about slash. so I recomend you listen to them.

heres the thing with slash's style and shred style. relate it to typing on a keyboard. shredding is like typing extremely fast, but all you're writing is repetitive meaningless stuff, like you're name, date of birth, location, etc. playing with soul means you're typing moderately fast, but you're actually writing a real story, creating something that has real meaning. it's just a metaphor
