Chris was a superman on screen for me as a little girl. I became a nurse after his accident and I take care of people with similar conditions to what he had. He was superman on screen, but in real life he was a superman because he survived for so long after his near fatal injury. Rest in peace, Chris.

I met christopher reeves in a theatre in the westend of London one evening in rehearsal. It was in the 80s after finishing the sequal(superman two). I asked him if he know of a third film, he wasnt sure or diddnt want to give anything away. I was about 18 years old and he looked like a giant of a man. He signed his name on a piece of paper which I have since lost and I have never forgot that day. I started bodybuilding from that time on. Hearing of his accident and then death. Im very sad. |
