Thing is with legal drugs people are still able to function and contribute to society. Drugs like heroin or crack cocaine or crystal meth severley impact on peoples ability to be economically productive. More so than alcohol.
There are drugs i would decriminalise though.

Well I feel in most ways the kids might be better off now. They probably are now with responsible adults elsewhere. What kind of life would they have had being raised by junkies?

Am I supposed to feel sorry for them? They brought upon themselves. If they wanted more fair treatment, then she should have sought out treatment in Australia or get arrested there, instead of trying for international drug trafficking! I guess the 50 year life sentence has sobered them up a bit. I think though they should just extradite these prisoners after 10 years or so and let Australia handled it then...but I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Ahhhh.... I guess none of these 3 retards watched "Midnight Express". If u travel overseas be sure not to fuck it up this bad and learn a bit more about the country u are going to and their laws and culture.

Serve them right. A penitentiary system in Thailand was designed to punish not to rehabilitate. Dont want to live in there then dont commit crimes!
