Plus.. I love the entire State of California... but when "our" Eagles sing about the desert in their most famous song, why are they and we "dissed" by all these shots of beaches. We in "Eastern California" are not happy about being held at arm's length by the coastal crowd, which apparently ignores--as the Eagles cleary do NOT--the desert part of the state. Viva, Hotel California, located in the So Cal DESERT. Come again, Eagles, to Indian Wells and Indio! --Dennis

I love the Eagles, but the scene is set in the Freaking desert! The Eagles knew that, and that's why "desert" is in so many of their songs they mention the desert! Why would somebody post pictures of the COAST? The Hotel California is in the DESERT. --Dennis
