I saw Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in NYC in 1982. God, I was so stoned but I remember every note that was played. Saw them again on the Powerslave tour. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I'm old but I still listen to Maiden here and there. Long live Maiden!!!!

depends on the type of metal, but yeah, nu metal is pretty gay, but stuff like dimmu borgir, satyricon, dark funeral, dispite their similarities in vocals, are great, but for good vocals, yeah, Im getting more into singing power metal stuff, stratovarius deffinately kick some ass. I can do both power metal and black metal, and not 12 year old constipated black metal, my biggest influence is Shagrath, some of the best screams ever.
