The constitution allows the existance of the branches of Gov't. The President serves because of the constitution, by the definition you can not disolve the instument that gives you that authority with another law. In other words, they can say they suspend the constitution but then they also suspend the right to be in power.

I heard, the Constitution will be eliminated in 2010 in order to make way for the North American Union. This is horrible!

Hell has frozen over. I now find myself agreeing with Olbermann and MSNBC. As a lifelong right wing constitutionalist, I can only view this as an act of Tyranny by both a Repub. President and his allegedly Dem. opposition. The Declaration of Indep. states "....whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it..." It was true in 1776 and it's damn sure true today. Observe the Constitution Politicans, you can be replaced!
