There are great movies for every generation. Molly Ringwald was the 80s teen movie queen. I just wish she did more movies. She wasn't a knockout, but she played the kind of girl you made you want to give up childish ambitions for, someone a momma's boy would love. John Hughes owned the 80s. Judd Apatow owns the latter half of the first decade of the 21st century.

Considering this came out of a really lightweight movie the lyrics are actually quite touching.. Nice.

I was sitting in McDonalds in Tonbridge chatting to this lady and asked what her husband did. he plays lead guitar she said... in a band. What band I asked... Psychadelic Furs she replied. Nice.

The Furs were great, the film that this is a soundtrack to is a bit of a turkey, but this is definitely the Furs finest moment.

Man, there were so many good movies from the eighties, it would be a shame to limit yourself to only two. What about Ferris Bueller's Day Off? The Goonies? Blade Runner? The Dark Crystal? Pee Wee's Big Adventure? Ghostbusters? The Empire Strikes Back? Back to the Future? The Lost Boys? The Princess Bride? This Is Spinal Tap? And the list goes on and on and on.
