I'm mystified as to why you feel you are "suffering these campaigns." Are you one of the men up there making sexist comments? If you really are someone who is committed to treating people equally, then there's no reason to feel attacked. In fact, you would understand the need for them.

It's easy to brush off claims of sexism in the media, but this shows pretty powerfully that there really is a good deal of bias and ignorance among these people who (unfortunately) have a lot of influence in society. It's possible for there to be bias anywhere, but for me this is another reason to shut off the TV and turn on NPR or pick up a good newspaper instead. What you get on most TV 'news' shows isn't news at all -- it's entertainment.

two wrongs don't make a right and you can't blame every living male for past mistakes of their gender.
otherwise we'd have called for mass slaughter of germans after WWII

what? she LIED? I can't believe a politician would LIE! I thought politicians were honest.

If you wish to argue, why don't you swap Instant Message Screen Names or something, this is a place for comments about the video, not attacks on each other.
I find that some of the things in this video were absolutely appalling, why we waste our time with the media is beyond me. It isn't untrue that women don't receive equal treatment, in that they get lower wages and last time I checked, are not eligible for the draft. I however don't believe that was the cause for clinton's downfall.

Hillary LIED about enduring Bosnia sniper fire.
Hillary LIED about helping to broker a peace deal in Northern Ireland.
Hillary LIED about the firings of the White House travel office staff.
Hillary LIED about her 1990s position on NAFTA.
Hillary claims credit for the successes of her husband's administration, and she claims to be "out of the loop" during all the failures.
That's not character, and it's not leadership.
Hillary is NOT a role model for women unless you like deceit.

Eventually one gets tired of trying to prove his innocence, and pushes back. And it is usually at that point where others start jumping up and down screaming 'see!? see!? I told you they were just a bunch of women haters!' Which, of course, only escalates the 'disagreement' further.
Personally, I think the really outspoken feminists cause most problems for themselves by doing exactly what I just illustrated to you.
It is a never ending circle, a fight that no one will ever win.
homestyles09 (August 26, 2008 at 4:59 pm)
We, or at least I, complain about these things because I see it as unfair to me. As a 18 year old male, I had no hand in any act that attempted to suppress women rights. My parents taught me equality, in every shape and form, and I have never put myself above anyone based on sex, or color, or anything. We are all equal, simple as that.
Then why should I have to suffer through these campaigns and advertisements that attack me simply for being a man, regardless of how I think?

Classic bigot and ignorant woman hater who cant get it up

Feminists want equality for woman but I want equality for men and woman. This lack of symmetry betrays the innate fallacy of feminism- that it is a sick movement that culminated in the proliferation of AIDS and abortion. |
