Karate has a much longer history than WTF TaeTaeDo. The first public demonstration of Karate in Japan was in 1917 (WTF was founded in 1973). Although the World Karate Federation has over 130 member countries, Karate has yet to be voted an Olympic sport. But why WTF TaeTaeDo is an Olympic sport? The success of WTF TaeTaeDo's inclusion in the Olympics has often been clouded in scandal and attributed to Dr. Kim Un Yong. He is best known for his bribery conviction and alleged bribery of IOC members.

i really hate people who compare this vid with a street fight. what you see in this vid is a sport ffs , a sport that can be compared with amateur boxing and sword if you want(attack and counter-attack). thats all there is to it and that`s why it is so beautiful. some of the people in here are even saying that in a street fight a regular non experienced guy would easily beat a TKD student just beacause TKD is gay and does not use punches :).for all of you who think TKD WTF is gay a big _|_

i cant wait to spar like these guys ive been accepted to go to the 2012 olympic games the olympic commitee called my house today (: and said i was accepted and told me that i can try out for the olympic trials (: so im prettty excited i was suppose to go in 2008 to beijing but i couldnt make it so they post-poned it for me they said they normally wouldnt but i had such a rare case that they made an acception :D i cant wait

Olympic TaeTaeDo Briefing: As Dr. Kim Un Yong, President of WTF (1973-2004), was arrested in January 2004 facing bribery charges including misuse of his Olympic position, he had allegedly turned TaeTaeDo into an Olympic sport through bribing other IOC members. He was sentenced to two and half years in prison for bribery and embezzlement in June 2004.

Traditional Tae Kwon-Do is the original style of Tae Kwon-Do, which differs from modernized forms and other martial arts in several important ways: no physical contact is allowed in free sparring, it is more aerobic in training than other styles and the emphasis is on each students own improvement rather than on competition with others.

For the first time, undoubtedly, in thousands of years of Korean history, WTF founded Suckskwondo and changed the Korean method of fighting and self-defense. It stresses on using the foot instead of the fists, using the tapping force instead of the penetrating power, using the WTF run-around moves to only engage in long-range fighting situation, and fighting with the hands down. WTF Suckskwondo has no practical aspects of fighting and self-defense. WTF? WTF is wrong with those WTF suckers?
