Well, the electrolytic cap has a larger capa citance and is relatively good with high current and low frequencies. The polyester cap has an excellent dieletric strength and good for high voltages/frequencies but low current due to self heating problems, they are used in precision applications. Hope i helped you. Someone said they got a PWM from a cheap cordless eletric drill set, from the switch assy. I am not electrnically minded, I dont know about this stuff, they said it had a limited range though. |
