The computerized sound is called "talkboxing" It started with Roger Troutman, in Zap and Roger. Some classic Jamz there, but yeah, I think TPain has worn it out. I thought he did better with his natural vocals.. he gets back to that in his hook with ludacris' If I Have One More Drink.

check out their "Personal" song.. shit goes hard for real.. That autotune shit is kindve wack.. the second verse on backseat doesnt have it.. I agree with you though, one or two good songs is not comparable to Jodeci.. a few classic ALBUMS, then, maybe..
