The art of shaving is not lost after all.
Nothing beats the shave of a straight razor. The first time I got shaved and shaped at the barber I blown away by the difference from disposable razors

I got my first straight razor today (Piers-Issard) and I can't believe how fast you are with yours! I'm all cut up and my face is raw. Thanks for the video tho, it let's me know that it's possible to use these things! :o)

can't help coming back and watching this video. this looks like the start of a Quentin tarentino movie where the hitman is getting ready to go out and pop someone. The music even fits what your doing down to the classical intro of maggie may where you pull out your blade just as the main song starts, very stylish you certainly look like someone who's beer I wouldnt wanna spill in a bar. great video love it

a lot of barber shops will sell the ones with disposable blades, so ask around - they're good to learn with because theres less to maintain. Otherwise just look online, I've seen plenty of shaving articles and stores which sell them. I got mine from my local barber with a box of blades for AUD$30

Wow, you've got some stones buddy.
I've been thinking about converting to a straight razor.
Thank you for the lesson. |
