Although the audio quality sounds like it was recorded on a 1974 portable cassette player pointed at a 1969 cheap transistor radio and then stepped on in the driveway before being 1/2 demagnetized, and the video looks like it was taken off the neighbor's crappy 10" Sanyo Color TV from across the yard through a screen window in a snowstorm, I STILL made myself late for work watching it! THAT'S HOW AWESOME JACO WAS. The other guys ain't too shabby neither! :-)

It was scary and awesome to come through that era.We take his contribution for granted now in the age of Wooten, but back in the day Jaco crushed our brains on Heavy Weather, Mr. Gone, Mingus,Don Juan's Reckless Daughter,Word of Mouth and Invitation. DC
