Global warming has nothing to do with hurricanes forming. The Gulf Of Mexico(which does nothing to actually form hurricanes) actually feeds a hurricane's strength. Global warming will cause the heavily destructive storms to become more frequent and more powerful over time. And for all our concern, there isn't a truckload we can do about it. You'll have higher category hurricanes more often. That's global warming. It's not a myth. I do think it's sensationalized a bit though.
