That was a great speech - long live David Attenborough; he surely is a living legend.

I wish he never said anything. He sounded like he was going to take 50 years just to get to the point!
Just listening to him, I nearly melted.

Donny -- that was a slight slip-up by Sir David (it still adds up though!) that occupied perhaps 3 seconds of the total 521 devoted to an impressive and heartfelt introduction. (did you get the message?)
Perhaps the finger can be pointed back at the accuser (you) as you incorrectly interpreted the amount of years (by a long margin)...

Sir David Attenborough is more than an icon - he is a man, who made his dreams real and show us how to live as a nessesary part of human race.

Sir David is so much more than an icon - his innovation and readiness to embrace change has lead to more than 50 years of hard-hitting, passionate broadcasting. He gives us a vision of the future that is not necessarily bad, but reminds us that all of us must play our part. We have the power in our lives and now our technology to change the world and it is up to us to decide whether that change will be for the better or worse. |
