Excellent version. However nothing beats the original Boz Scaggs version with Duane Allman. The cover of that 1969 album entitled "Boz Scaggs" is just one of those simple photographs that you never ever forget! Simple but genius!

That's Duane Allman on the whole lp. this cat does a nice job, too.

I have had this [pt1 -pt2] tucked away for some time now. I am ashamed to admit I have been silent for so long. Loan Me A Dime by Duane and Boz has been longly entrenched as one of a handful of songs out in the world that absolutely stop me in my tracks. At the same time floor me.... and lift me to heights I cannot imagine achievable... This song shreds me and then reinvents me.
You lads, brilliantly, do it justice. You stand next to anyone's version and hold your own without peer... Magic!

Hey guys, I'm impressed. I started out with a four-tracker, too, so I know what you went through. I've been a fan of the un-albumed Boz Scaggs live version for twenty years, and you did a superb cover of the lead part. Who was the guitarist on the Scaggs recording? Anyway, really good job. Fenton would be proud.
