he probably meant that being a soldier in that time and age the movie was based on required stealth. And he did the song because, ah currently, mulan was clumsy and would most likely give their position away in the thick of battle. see what I mean?

One small problem I have with this song... Men are not "as mysterious as the dark side of the moon." We are likely to be the simplest form of humans possible. Still, simplicity doesn't always mean worse than. I do not remember how I got on that tangent. Still, great song.
