The vikings were raiders and the romans had been in battle with them before... But i dont know when this movie is meant to be happening, but it did seem weird.

All those languages derived from the Old Norse, in those times they were all speaking the same languages. The regional differences later evolved in the seperate languages.

One of them was a goddamn roman murmillo gladiator's helmet, it was kinda funny though seeing such ridiculousness in such an intense movie.

They seemed to have a mix and match of armour in that movie. The helmits did not look viking.

they sing in finish,its not related to the indo-european north-germanic languages. but its a beutifull language! ii myself speaks swedish,that is my mothertoung.

There were also Danish Vikings in that movie.. Cus some of the vikings speaked Danish and some of them talked swedish, Norwiegan.. ;D |
