Ive explored 20% of this city and I have fallen in love, I almost moved there this year but was stopped due to management change right when I researched the city to death via online. However, I am forever in pursuit of moving there and I know that I was meant to die in this jewel of a city, it is my home it is my final destination...

Ya, I've always heard people mention that about SF. People tend to be more tolerant of different people here. It's why so many gay people live in SF because other people don't bother them there. Speaking for myself who grew up in the SF bay area, I feel this way myself. I know I don't like to be judged, so I try to treat everyone the same regardless, unless they aren't nice to me. Whereas I see LA people as tending to idolize all of the Hollywood figures, as if they are above everyone else.

Probably because LA people tend to idolize famous figures (Hollywood) whereas SF people tend to treat everyone the same regardless. I could be wrong.
