RoBovon, u r totally wrong! u have no idea wat u r talking about! u r able to start in Most drum corps at 15 if u r good enough! and also dicipline is part of it but its not all about that.

The age-out age is consistent throughout all DCI corps, and is currently 21. BUT some members are 22 because the current cutoff is the January 1 before the summer that you march, so as long as you turn 22 after that, you can still be in a corps.

actually some corps age out at 22. i went to a drumming camp that phantom hosted. we talked with their drumline and their center snare was 22. it was really cool.

How can you accuse someone of not knowing when they talk about when you don't even? DCI has no 24-year-olds, you age out at 21. A lot of them have graduated high school, yeah, but not all of them- so the high schoolers in corps like this are still putting every ounce of energy. This goes for any corps- they all have discipline above any high school band because they all want to be there- from the very first camp they all stand and listen respectfully, nothing at all like high school band.

You haven't the slightest clue of what you speak. Bobber was correct in his statement, these individuals are from 18-24 years old. Now, you may not realize it (simply judging by your idiocy above) but that's the age range for persons that have graduated high school already. I will say though, discipline is a big factor but it is also something learned over time...more time = more discipline.

this has nothing to do with experience its all discipline, a high school band just can't reach this level of discipline and precision
