How can you speak for everyone in this bizz? Carrey is awesome in this tribute and I saw one (unsuccessfull) actor put an annoying faces. Everyone was entertained. It's a freaking tribute to Meryl Streep. It was not longer than most speeches in a tribute. But I guess this is a concept hard to grasp for something like you.
