You are right it's not Byron, it's a Canadian guy named Bernie Shaw whose been doing vocals for years. He can reach the notes and does as good a job as you could get doing the early numbers. He's not a bad chef either. They're at the Astoria, Charing Cross london on Sunday 23rd Nov. If anyone who reads this is going just say martin sent me.

I have a version of this from the mid-sixties, it's by a female singer named Wendy Huber on the Philips label. This song is starting to remind me of "Hey Joe" so many people have recorded it!

Has no one heard the Tim Rose version? As good as if not better than all the others, though I admit this one is pretty good.
