A sentence is made of words .. A word is made of alphabets But u cant ask wat a alphabet is made of? ITs a alphabet on a whole... similarly U cant ask wat a string is made of.. Its a string. Thats it.. I read tis somewhere

This stuff is interesting, but it does seem like its just better to ignore it, safer for your sanity. I remember watching these videos a few years ago in high school and thinking wtf? I understand them a bit better now, I think really the only selling point of it is that everythings the same. The string part is just for visualization matters, for a feeble mind like Einsteins... jk

Thats the problem. when we try to find out what material do the Strings have there must be something elementar which creates the universe. Everything what has space consists of something smaller. With the string-theory we try to find out the elementar "particle" of the universe. ...I try to sound intelligent.....

Strings are made of space-time. If you look at gravitational graphs of the solar system, you can see the concentration of strings in de bends of space-time.

When I say see ourselves, I mean see our own eyes.

So the laws say both. I can't get my head arround the infinity problem. I can't see how physicists can reduce everything down to strings and then say that's it. That's what the universe is made of. The strings must be made of something, yes? Also, everything in the universe is essentially the same and interconnected. I can't see how our brains can understand what it essentially is. It seems paradoxical. Like it's impossible for us to see ourselves, ignoring mirrors of course.

exactly, the problem we have is that, dictated by the laws of physics we know, there can be no single particle that doesn't contain something smaller. but the laws of physics would also tell us that it couldn't go on forever. so i think we have made an error somewhere.

boy, you got that right! If I hear "tiny, vibrating strings--just like strings on a violin!" ONE MORE TIME...with its accompanying scientist looking dreamily into the middle distance, whilst I, useless metaphor in hand, think, "What the...?" I guess the math supports this stuff, but is incomprehensible to us peons, so people reach for pretty pictures. Oh, well.

But what are the strings made of? And whatever makes the strings, what's that made of? And on you go to infinity. I doubt we'll ever understand everything. It's a hunch but I think it's like expecting and ameoba to understand quantum mechanics. Also, universal consciousness is beyond thought so how can we expect to understand it using thought? Isn't that paradoxical? Enlightened people say it can never be explained or understood. There's no harm in trying though. It's fun and fascinating too.
