I really enjoyed this. One of my favorite Ipod albums is BG's 1938 Carnegie Hall concert with Kruppa, DeFranco's solo here very different, and a lot of fun

FANTASTIC! Great clip. I had the opportunity of meeting Jack Sperling and playing on his drums in the late 90's. He was very gracious to me and even drove me back to my hotel after the gig. We was a great drummer and a nice man. He will be sadly missed. Thanks for posting. Maybe you can add more from the concert? |
