This is so much more powerful than his newer songs,i think the use of synths spoilt it a bit for me but he's still a great lyricist.

at first, I didn't think he was crying either, but watch him close to the end of the video and you can see a tear streak down the left side of his face. What a beautiful video.

he wasn't crying he was stairing at somebody in the audience, dissecting them, singing to them
