Howie uses an older pod with two small solid state amps thru 2 marshall 4-12s. After opening for him in LA he came on and played with Graham Bonnet as Alcatraz, Simply insane and his guitar sounded so good i had to ask him afterward what the hell he uses! Its so simple and he said "why mess with new amps, just stick with what sounds good! He's had thoses strats since he was a kid & his playing is flawless! Sounded as good and better than Yngvie! My sound sucked that night, he just blew me away

a tab would only make it harder because then you're reading shit. just practice sweeping with any notes from a chord you know
