YoChicago1, there are a bunch of us in a new Magellan building that are very upset at being outright misled about public spaces. We have documents showing what was marketed to us on buying in, and it's very different from what was delivered. None of us want to identify ourselves since over a year later most of us have incomplete punchlist items that aren't done and we don't want to risk Magellan not doing them. Hmmm, YoChicago1 didn't identify him/herself either. As another victim of Magellan at a building they built with complete misrepresentation of their amenities, I agree with chicagodude546. YoChicago1 might want to identify himself, being such an effective guttersnipe also, it seems.

If you want to slam an established business you should have the decency to identify yourself. Do you expect anyone to pay any attention to a completely anonymous gripe? Magellan has a track record that speaks for itself. You're an unknown guttersnipe of the worst sort.

DO NOT BUY PRESALE FROM MAGELLAN DEVELOPMENT! Their sales office outright lied to us about the fitness center in our building- we have their sales pieces showing a spectacular space and they instead confiscated this space to put in a SALES office of THEIR OWN! You CANNOT TRUST THEM! WAIT until post construction to buy from them. Real estate in Chicago is tanking and prices will be much better in 2 years. CAUTION! These guys are being sued every day by area residents and condo associations.
