Knowing him personally or not doesn't mean I would have the knowledge of some of his circumstances growing up.
You made a blanket statement that is false and I'm pointing it out.

The bottom line here is the guy is trying to straighten up his life for his family. If he finds God or spirituality through this religion, that's not anyone else's concern.
