well, it seems more like he just has a differing opinion. there are people who don't like the Beatles either. why? i'll never understand. but the same goes for leo kottke, bill withers, miles davis, mahavishnu orchestra, SRV, skip james, ray charles, dr. john, ten years after.... i like them but if you prefer dream theatre or iced earth i can still appreciate your taste. besides sounds like the 'kid' took the time to listen to a few of his songs to make his decision. what more can you do?
