it's not the axiom. I have an Axiom 61, and I have no latency at all. Most likely it's Sonar. I use Cubase...it's easier to deal with when it comes to latency issues.

I bought an M-audio ultra interface. I'm using it as the only device for my computer, but there is still a lot of latency with my axiom. I'm using Sonar 6 and when I turn the samples down, it doesn't fix the latency. Does anyone have any ideas?

Point Break (1991) was marvelous sweeping score that washed over and around me in Dolby stereo, lots of low end and high sparkle of transparency.

I think his best work was crash. His score made the movie jump out at you.

Ha, I agree completley. You look at the rest of the gear he has in that room and then you look at his monitors. Not that they are bad, but it doesn't quite add up

So Isham can't afford high-end monitor speakers because he's coughed up so much dough to reach OT V in Scientology. Probably got those BX 8's for doing this plug. :p
I like my M-audio products just fine but wouldn't settle for just BX 8's in his position.

Loved the music he composed in the 1991 movie "Point Break" with Keanu Reeves, and Patrick Swayze. When Bodhi, and Johnny Utah are skydiving, Mark Isham's music a "A Hairs Lead" is playing. Isham's a great composer.
