Wow that's kinda harsh. Americans and People of European descent have done worse than Nigerians.Slavery, Thievery of African resources. Nigerian scammers prey on the greed of others. if you aren't greedy yourself you can't fall victim to a Nigerian scammer. That doesn't make any group the scum of the earth.

Why were these guys so gullable and naive that they agreed to fly all the way to Peru to 'collect a package' and bring it back to SA? I do feel sorry for them because clearly they're not hard-line criminals and are apparently first-time offenders, but it angers me that they were so bloody stupid as to do that. Even in desperation I would expect them to know better. Just silly. And sad.

Nigerians are scum of the earth. I get my inbox filled with scam letters with Nigerian IP's every day. They are truly sub human. I've corresponded with a few of them to mess with them and bait them and they write like children. It's pathetic how stupid they are.
