Don't get me wrong, i use this with my HV20 and it is amazing, but for an XHA1 you really need metal parts. What happens is the weights begin to vibrate with the motion and it causes a really weird shake in the footage. kinda strange.

ya but you need thicker pvc

try thicker pvc.

I've used this stabilizer with an XHA1, and the pvc is wayy to floppy for the weight. I'm sure an XL2 would have the same problems.

hey can you make one to work with a canon xl2?

yeah imo mine is better.

I keep meaning to make one of these for myself. Since I started art college I have been needing one. I just have to get around to actually making it. I could get the supplies easily. Also, have you seen the Poorman's Steadicam?

Does that hold the "cheapest ever"? It's awesome.
Did you come up with the idea, or is it something you've seen done before?

this steadicam will make your footage look incredible
