For the most part I agree with you, but sometimes the effects are so stunning, that its worth doing a set up trick. Some good examples of this are "Out of this World" and "Sam the Bellhop" (by Bill Malone) These two tricks are so incredible that it's worth a set up. This particular trick by ultradeepbase, is good, but I might have to agree that it isn't worth the setup... but hey, I didn't make the trick, I just revealed it.
