No, it wouldn't be any different. Marcelo is a two time mundial champion with the gi on. He's even better with the gi off, but he's technically the best lightweight in the world.
Aoki's great, but Marcelo is a machine.

Would it make a difference if it was a grappling match with gi's on? Because the aoki i saw in this video doesnt look like the aoki i know in his other grappling matches
