Nice Work! Desmond was better--saw him 3rd night. This is mostly NOT Bob Fosse's choreography however! This was a short piece (maybe 50 seconds) in DANCIN' which ballet dancer Charles Ward did (principal with ABT). Shame they didn't film the original FOSSE company rather than the 2nd and 3rd string that ended up on the video. Bob called me the BULL and you can watch me doing the male adagio in ALL THAT JAZZ, and I also danced with the original company of Dancin' on B'Way//Gary Flannery

Edwaard Liang, the best of the best of male dancers. I love this guy. He's amazing.

Wow, he's amazing. I'd love to learn to dance like that. I'm taking a Fosse jazz intensive or something like it in a couple years. (:

I saw Desmond in the role twice (LA tryout/Broadway previews). He and Edward are both ballet trained but in my opinion Desmond has more experience in all sort of dance and Eddie is more the pure ballet guy. Having said that they were both standouts in the productions and Edward only suffers slighty due to comparison. Desmond is also the better know more established of the two.

I agree, though I really liked Ken Alan's work in the show, too. Edwaard Liang certainly stopped the show with this number. I would love to have seen former Alvin Ailey dancer Desmond Richardson perform this in the original production as well.

Beautiful man. beautiful moves. Easily, my favorite dancer in that production. would you also happen to have him performing the routine with two other dancers where they wear the cowboy hats in the routine from the Bob Hope special, and if so, would you please upload it? Other than "RMF", it my favorite from this show.
