2012 is only end of one Mayan "serpentine" (the time according to "serpentine" flows faster the closer to its end = huge and fast advance in 20th cent. and last years), it will be an end of one system, but there are higher systems in Mayan calendar - it means this is only end of one period (as we have centuries for example) and Mayan calendar counts with numbers much larger a further in future... end of period is no "end" no warning :D Or do you see a warning in every "fin de siecle"?
