10 months is hardly enough time to fully understand a country's culture. I was in Japan for 11 and I still don't fully understand their culture, and never will.

oh you think i can't understand the chinese culture? i was an exchange student in china and in a chinese family for about 10 month, so i think i can understand it quite well... and to your information: i fuckin'love Jay and this movie, too... but it's still a bit wierd...^_^
