Aren't MEMORIES and EMOTIONS great? We must take the good with the bad. How else can we know what happiness is if we don't have sadness to contrast it with? Joy contrasted with suffering? We humans are built to feel emotions. Even as babies we don't know any words, but we can still feel joy (running through a sunny meadow with dandelions on a spring morning) and pain (chicken pox). Take that Russell and Kestner.

I STILL sing it sometimes! :P I loved that ride. I once rode it eight times consecutively before my dad made me stop. I almost started crying. |
