Its a very good idea, i like how its free, and how they got there before damned Microsoft, because now in the next Office you will be able to do all this, but guess what it costs.

True BUT...exporting document, saving it, then importing the document back (or copying pasting) takes more time and effort that simply enabling google gears. Most of us can appreciate eliminating a few extra steps in our lives, right?

You need to have Google Gears plugin installed on the respective browser that you use. Here's the requirements for Windows:

luv this feature... hope google will launch a full fledged offline mode capable of editing documents, spreadsheets AND presentations... wonder if google will launch an office application? That would be hella nice! |
