They obviously didn't. In almost any professionally done interview they ask the person being interviewed what they are comfortable with talking about. They asked her about Jay-Z's night club project among those questions.

one thing i see in common with a lot of the comments on here is "shes such a bitch, and a diva, and rude and..oh but i LOVE the CD tho!" lol XD you can tell she felt stupid when they told her 'that wasnt live that wasnt on tv" OOPS! lmao! but she claims she knew that ahead of time. whatever. she's the inverse of beyonce if you were to flip beyonce inside-out you'd get solange.

Actually, they asked Solange about Jay-Z's new club project BEFORE the beginning of the show. Solange thought that question about Jay had been broadcast, when it wasnt the case, THAT'S WHY she answered the way she did... I still think she's not a very friendy person, and a little bit big headed too! !Nat!
