Tantum Ergo II

This is the Tantum Ergo played on the 1978 Wicks @ St Aloysius Gonzaga, Nashua, NH. This instrument replaced a 35 stop Casavant. The original Gothic building caught fire in 1976. The building and organ demolished. I played the same hymn as to show the different tonal qualities from the 1904 Cole & Woodbury @ St Pat's Lowell MA.

I went to Catholic school at St. Mary's and my favorite thing was going to Benedition and singing this hymn because I felt both God's and Jesus's presence. This hymn will always be my favorite!!! Thank you!!

Brings me right back to my childhood, attending Benediction and Exposition Of The Blessed Sacrament at Sts. Phillip and James Catholic Church in The Bronx. I can't hear this today without my eyes filling with tears. God has granted so much and I want to publicly say thank you to Him. I wish we would sing this in Latin in my parish.

L'orgue sonne magnifiquement.

Beautiful although I liked the sound of the 1904 Cole & Woodbury better. Imagine what THAT organ will sound like when it is restored!!!

Awesome. Loved it. What a great old organ, and what a beautiful tune.
