To PILGARLIC42: Well, if it took 30 sheep
to knit *all four* jumpers (now, why does
that sound as if the sheep did the knitting
themselves? ^_~ just kidding ^_~), that's
only six and a half sheep per jumper. ^_~
Unless you meant 30 sheep *each*. ^_~
(But I don't *think* that the jumpers
are really quite *that* woolly. ^_~)

To beggo321: I *think* that the song "Brennan
on the Moor" is most likely based on the
legends rather than, or at least more than,
the reality (and isn't meant to be exactly
the life story of an actual person).
However, it certainly is interesting to
know that there was a real Willie Brennan
who really did flee to the Kilkenny mountains
(might've been part of the inspiration for
the Willie Brennan folklore, song, etc.).

To TARTANCAM: It might (but probably doesn't
...since you don't care) interest you to know
that I am a college graduate with a lifelong
interest in folk music, especially Irish.
Apparently if you'd met Tommy Makem and/or
the Clancy Brothers, you'd have insulted
them too, since they too were in the habit
of making silly/childlike jokes AND being
KNOWLEDGEABLE at the same time.
