no he hasnt u fool,he said jokingly once that "ringo wasnt even the best drummer in the beatles" but that was it. He has,however,said on numerous occasions that Ringo was the most perfect drummer the beatles could have possibly found for their type of music

I don't know when the tape was released. But I do know that Paul, Ringo, and George got together for the first time in like 12 years (1992 I think) and used the tape in their production of this.
