This was a design classic, even the 700MHz one ran rings round a 1.8GHz Pentium 4.

i have one and i think its still the most beautiful mac that ever created. once i dont like the design because it looks so different with the G3's. but now i realize that it's a very special computer. a whole design is a masterpiece for me :) wonderful, lively and yes pretty :)

true, the new design is much more effective ..at the time putting the drives vertically didn't give them the performance they wanted to make the product shipping-worthy...that's my take on it anyway
