saw the Beta Band on their farewell tour in Manchester. One of the best gigs I've ever been too.

John Maclean, the man who directs The Beta Band and The Aliens video (as well as being a member of both bands), told us in a lecture that this was The Beta Band's most expensive clip. Also, the helicopter isn't really there, it's added in digitally but it makes the video look so expensive because of its huge size! Such a cool video. Really different from his, as he calls it, usual 'lo-fi' style. :] LTZ xxx

I've always loved this track and did not know this video existed until today (05.08.2008), the video and track are fucking awesome. Beta Band are simply unparalled. I'm Italain so naturally I laughed my tits off at the Romans "running away" from the Samurais at 01.57. I love this!!!! Enzo

This song and the clip are really great! i think this describes the way of our whole civilization- it´s philosophical and entertaining in the same time- every time i wath it i find more and more allusions to human history... This is the greatest song ever made!
