My point here is that seatbelts help to save lives. There is a huge safety campaign throughout the states making all of us aware of the importance of useing seatbelts and with the moto"click it or ticket". Now just maybe our governments truely care about our lives, or they wish to make money from our bad habits and give us tickets for not wearing them.!? Regardless, if all children living in every state were to use seatbelts they will have a better chance in the event of an accident.

HBCUHeadDrumMajor... My real point here is that seatbelts help to save lives and needless injuries. Buckle up and be safe is the moto law officers use in a nationwide safety campaign.

HBCUHeadDrumMajor... thank you for saying, I'm glad to hear this, maybe I should move our family to Florida as MD. and VA. do not have seatbelts available for children. However high school students will also go airborn during a terrible crash and suffer needless injuries from the result of not useing an available seatbelt, seems like a silly policy if you are not required to wear them.

I dont know what your talking about. All school buses these days have seat belts. My bus does. Down here in Tampa, FL elementary schools are required to where them. In high school we sit where ever we want and are not required to where them.

Mention this( install seatbelts ) to your school board and see how many excuses you receive.

I have a deep belief that if seatbelts were mandatory on school buses as they are in our cars, trucks and every other vehicle and used properly that saving lives or injuries in school bus crashes would be well worth the investment, just as the blinking lights or swing out stop sign. I think many state's and local jurisdiction's should stop making excuses for not implementing this very simple safety method and begin to retrofit and install seatbelts now! Mention this to your school board
